BSCC Youth Ministry

Here's what it's about

Youth Ministry Logo

The purpose of the Blue Starr Student Ministry is to create an environment where teenagers can connect with God, deepening their relationship with Him and building a foundation for lifelong discipleship. We strive to love God and love others. We want to “shine like stars in the universe” (Philippians 2:13-16), showing the love of God to all those we come in contact with.

Our group is made up of 7th-12th grade students from several different schools in the Claremore area. Through devotionals, camps, retreats, service projects and other avenues, we help teens build relationships with their peers and with the Lord. Our goal is to assist our teenagers in transitioning into a deep and mature faith that is all their own. Incorporated in this effort is our desire to encourage families. Spiritual growth for teenagers starts at home. Our Student Ministry exists to assist families in growing spiritually, as well as to be the hands and feet of Jesus in those environments that lack such growth opportunities.

Philippians 2:13-16a

13 For it is God who is working in you, enabling you both to desire and to work out His good purpose. 14 Do everything without grumbling and arguing, 15 so that you may be blameless and pure, children of God who are faultless in a crooked and perverted generation, among whom you shine like stars in the world. 16 Hold firmly to the message of life.
